Rated 5.0 A rare find, this gem of a restaurant offers traditional Indian fare, as well as Nepalese novelties, all delivered impeccably, and with plenty of choices for vegetarians and carnivores. Do you want the typical samosa or a Tikka Masala? They have them. Want to experiment something different, a Momo, Thukpa, or Chow Chow? Oh, you are in for a treat! Sauces and spices are complex and rich, meats are pristine, and vegetables are fresh and crunchy. The chefs honor traditional recipes but given them subtle twists. Last night, I tried something typical: a Vindaloo. They follow the traditional Goan style in general, and I was simply delighted - spicy, thick tomato sauce with toasted spices and bright-note chilies that just blew me away. I can't feel my face, yet. But I am a happy customer!
Rated 5.0 This was my first try of Indian/Napali cuisine so I had no idea what to order! I was looking up what certain words on the menu meant. I was a mess. But I ordered the lamb vindaloo. I was told up front it was medium hotness which sounded good to me. I was delicious! Everything was tender and well flavored. Next time I need to try the naan!

Rated 5.0 We had a great time at Gurkhas! The food is great and the staff is very friendly. I recommend the Chocolate Samosa as an appetizer! If you're looking for a dessert you've most likely never had, definitely order the Gulab Jamun! You'll be surprised at first, but will be left with a great flavor! Thanks Rajas! We WILL be back!
