Kabir and his team are fantastic! He is super easy to work with and has great suggestions with the timeline. The baraat was a blast and our formal pictures on the mandap went as smooth as could be with him coordinating the photo groups. He listens to guest requests and encouraged us to add garba to our reception as our guests were requesting it which we had not planned for but it all worked out so well. Our guests said this was one of the best receptions they have been too since the music choice was really good and he kept the party going all night long. Highly recommend Kabir and Desibeatzs to anyone looking for a DJ.

I cannot speak highly enough about DJ Kabir and his team at Desi Beatz. We hired Desi Beatz for our Mehndi and Wedding this past weekend and both events were flawless- music, lights, everything. DJ Kabir is a very kind, patient, and professional DJ whose vibes are exactly what a bride needs on their big day(s). His team is absolutely wonderful too. DJ Kabir was very responsive in the whole planning process, shared great ideas for music and other special portions of our events, and truly made our events so memorable. We had a fusion Pakistani/American wedding and he was able to perfectly combine music from both cultures and read the crowd for the type of music they wanted to hear all night long. We can't wait to work with him again- I just need to drum up another reason to have a bash :)

It has taken me a day or two to write this review as I was busy tending to my feet. Tending? - you may ask. Well that is what happens when Matt is your DJ and the dance party starts in the evening and goes way past midnight because no one wants to miss a beat ?? Thanks Matt for keeping the party rolling and making our special couple celebrating their silver jubilee, dance to your carefully selected peppy numbers. You went above and beyond and turned the DJ service to karaoke without skipping a beat. Trust me you will be getting a lot of calls for your excellent service for quiet a number of milestone celebrations coming up in our group of friends. We utilized Desi Beatzs' services for my daughter's first birthday party and Kabir was so amazing! He is easy person to communicate to and always got back to me promptly. We had a mix of young and old crowd and everyone enjoyed all the music! Even my 1 year old daughter was dancing to his music! Highly recommend him for any event! We reached out to Matt (Desi Beatz Entertainment) after seeing him perform at a couple of family parties. Matt was responsive to our initial request for quote. He walked us through the process and provided a fair cost for his services. He came out promptly to perform a site survey. On the day of the event Matt was on time and had all his setup ready to go before the guests arrived. Lights, Sound, Music and the Photo Booth were all a hit! Matt had the dance floor packed all night and catered to guest song requests. Highly recommend Matt!

Kabir and his team did an absolutely incredible job for our wedding day-- the team went above and beyond what we were expecting and hoping for. From the ceremony all through to the reception, so much care was taken to ensure a smooth and fun experience for everyone. The dhol players were absolutely phenomenal, the music was on point throughout the night and we have heard nothing but good things from all our guests! A special mention for the MC, Baneet, for really showing such care and kindness when I wasn't feeling too well-- I appreciated it so much. His equipment is state of the art, the DJ booth setup was really cool, lighting was brilliant and he worked with us for the music and complied a fun bollywood list mixed with english numbers. Oh and he has this cool looking Jeep that he uses for mobile DJ events. We will call him again for sure.

We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ for our son and his now wife’s Sangeet Night. Kabir is absolutely fantastic and so personable!! He was prompt and on time, and he emceed the evening’s program with no problems. Most importantly though, the music was so insanely energetic. The set was beyond what we had imagined! Whatever I say is not enough for how accomadating and proffessional Kabir is. From the first call, he was super friendly, responsive and willing to help make the event the way we want it. I think we had a pretty complex evening with need for live streaming, some pre recorded speeches and need for projector, but he made it seem all natural and simple. He was in touch with me and my brother regarding multitude of itenary changes during the evening and really just went with the flow. As for the music and lights, amazing. High quality speakers, greating lighting, awesome fog machine and great beats thru the whole night, he was also playing all special request songs all evening. I think i know who ill be calling and reffering to for all my DMV DJ needs

?DJ Kabir is absolutely phenomenal. We approached him based on reviews and his Instagram page. And after that it was a seamless process. He was wonderful to work with and personalized the playlist to include some of our favorites. He also attended the venue walkthroughs with us to help us plan the layout and also help us think through elements unrelated to audio. We danced for 3 straight hours and so did our guests ?across ages 3 to 80. Ankur, the dholi, brought in amazing energy and was a unique element to our reception. The lighting was great. ?The ?photo ?booth was very well done. The props were fun and there was something for everyone. We got the photos very soon after the event, and they are a great addition to the photos from our photographer.? Having Kabir and Ankur made all the difference to our celebrations. It's an enthusiastic yes from us!
