The dishes are reflective of new, modern American sensibilities folded in with the bold flavors of India. Always with an eye towards making his culture’s cuisine accessible to Atlanta diners, Amara is a unification of Kothary’s modern sensibilities and family tradition. The space is as bold as the favors with an industrial and modern take on design. Guests are greeted in a large vaulted entryway and drink at a glass-backed bar overlooking the dining room.
