McMaster Tutoring Advanced Language Art

All you need to do is register online for a free trial class. If your child joins the class after the trial class, we will use this as your formal registration.

$160 for a normal four weekend month or $200 for a normal five weekend month.

The exact number varies from week to week, but you can expect between 8 to 15 students in every class.

Each class is two hours long.

Students can expect to learn reading comprehension, essay writing, grammar, and vocabulary each week. In the SAT classes students will also see a section of the SAT or ACT every week.

Yes, we use AP standards when grading students papers. All papers are returned to students with comments and instruction.

Of course there is! Student's can anticipate an hour or two a week.

We will evaluate your child based on their performance during the Free Trial Class.

When registering your child, please sign up for the grade they are currently in at school. All students must start at their current grade level.

Our curriculum is designed for students in the Honors, Advanced, and Accelerated students. If your child is a hard worker and is determined to make it into higher level classes, then we are the right place. If your child is struggling to grasp the basics of Language Arts and is struggling to maintain a B plus or better in a On Level class at school, we may not be the correct fit. Our classes dive into the more complex aspects of Language Arts and a strong understanding of the basics is required. If you are not sure, by all means please send them to a Free Trial Class and see how they like it.

We are here to help the top students achieve their absolute best in Language Arts. We use an intense living circular curriculum that covers reading comprehension, essay writing, grammar, and high level vocabulary. We constantly teach these fundamental concepts in an ever increasing difficulty spectrum. There is no start-to-end finish line with our curriculum. It is our goal to accurately assess how our students perform in all classes so that we can create material to enable students to achieve mastery in areas of deficiency. We teach to our top students and therefore do not spend time on remedial aspects of Language Arts outside of our elementary classes.

We use Common Core as a guide to ensure our students are excelling in their school work, but we do not follow it as our curriculum. Our curriculum is much higher and more intense than the Common Core guidelines.
