Roost Ranch
The beautiful Buzzards Roost Ranch near winters, California and Lake Berryless provides a number of wonderful services. Enjoy a getaway in the master bedroom of our picturesque ranch house or perhaps you might want to stay in the Pyramid camp cabin. If you prefer to camp outdoors we offer that opportunity as well! Activities available on the ranch include horseback riding, carriage rides, kayak tours, and hiking trails. The nearby Lake Berryless Recreation Area offers fishing, hiking and all types of boating. Boat rentals are available with many amenities such as marine stereos, water skiing equipment, wake towers and waterproof marine speakers. Enjoy the day wake boarding or water skiing.
Rated 5.0 We used Susan and her beautiful white mare Jazz for our Indian wedding, and we couldn't be happier that we did. Buzzard's Roost Ranch is the only preferred horse vendor for our wedding venue, which says a lot about their level of service. Susan was professional and stayed in contact with me, especially the week of the wedding. It rained the whole week of my wedding, but my groom had decided he would be out there rain or shine, and Buzzard's Roost Ranch makes it clear that they will be there rain or shine, unless you cancel them. Both Susan and her lovely horse came dressed up in Indian garb, which was great for our photos. The prices are reasonable and fair as well. We are even hoping to visit the ranch and take a carriage ride once the weather warms up a bit. Thank you Susan and Buzzard's Roost Ranch for making our experience a wonderful one!
Rated 5.0 Great little ranch! The owner is very nice and the room is big with a private bath. We didn't get to ride any horses but there are many beautiful ones there.
