Lakshmi is a Bharatanatyam teacher and dancer, who has trained with emminent gurus in her field of art. Her passion for the art forms only honed her skills as a performer and teacher. She has organized events featuring various contemporary and classical dance forms of India and continues to extend support to various community projects as well. She is also a Mohiniattam performer, a violinist and a Carnatic vocalist as well. Some of her laurels include the Kalathilakam award from M.G University and Best Choreographer Award at International Dance Festivals. The academy follows the Kalakshetra style and our director, Lakshmi, conducts these classes herself nurturing the true identity of this art form as a tribute to her alma mater. The technicalities of Bharatanatyam follows the ancient Indian scripture of Natyashastra. Classes are offered on Saturdays from 8:00am-6:00pm
