As a first time home buyer, there were lot of unknowns about the mortgage. While we were shopping for mortgage, we happen to talk to Vema Mortgage, represented by Sebastian, and all our concerns were addressed promptly in a very professional manner. I first contacted Sebastian through a reference - during our very first conversation over the phone, he made me aware of certain issues I would face if I had applied for a loan given my circumstances at that time. As my situation changed, I was able to re-contact him and get my loan approved with very competitive rates. Sebastian was very helpful in every step of the process and made the whole process stress free, which was contrary to what I had heard about the process. Hassle Free, And Transparent : When I bought my first house in April-2011, everybody was telling me that Mortgage is one of the most difficult part of this process of buying home. so when I was looking for houses, i also started contacting Mortgage agents as well proactively. One of my friends recommended Sebastian, and his quotation (HUD) was very transparent with minimal fees among all others. So I decided to proceed with Sebastian. Due to Sebastian: for me getting Mortgage was effortless process. Imagine this: Everything was done over phone/e-mails. I met him in-person during our closing (Off-course you cannot do closing remotely). So after 3 years in 2014, I refinanced same house as better interest rates were available. Again all paperwork was done over phone/e-mail and only closing was done in-person. No hassle at all, very simple , transparent and comfortable experience both times.
