Devika Kapoor is a renowned artist from New Delhi, India. She did her Masters in Fine Arts from College of Art, New Delhi. She continued as a freelance artist and photographer once she moved to USA. Her passion towards graphic and visual art grew with every stroke of brush that drove her to start her own painting studio and art school, Paint a Style, in 2014 at Redmond. In the desire to share the knowledge, she started her classes to teach children. Art Classes, Summer Camps, Folk Art, Madhubani and all. She organize classes for all at a very convenient location near you. Classes are organized by age groups and are project based. Children start with basics and graduate to complicated art. With the support from great art patrons, her school expanded into workshop and camps and other events that brought art closer to children and adults in and around Seattle. Devika has been striving to nurture this creativity in people for years now. She excels in experimenting various mediums to bring freshness to the art, let it be paper, ceramic, terracotta or metal. She has been teaching varied styles like Contemporary art, Indian folk art like Madhubani, Warli & Gond (glue) art, Mosaic, Fabric, Clay and many more. She actively organizes after school and cultural workshops with Samskriti Kala Kendra and other schools all over Seattle. Unique themes of her workshops are exquisite and fascinating that bring creativity out. Her fun filled teaching methodology is loved by all. Her students have done wonders in art, their work frequently gets recognized by the school programs and other art fraternity.
