Madhusri Sethuraman has been in the dance field for over 40 years and is recognized as an outstanding Bharata Natyam artist. She received her training from world-renowned teachers: Padmabushan Smt. Kamala, Kalaimamani Rajarathnam Pillai, and Padmabushan Smt.Kalanidhi Narayan. In the last thirty years, Madhusri has given over 500 performances in India, U.S.A, Europe, Australia, Singapore, China and Hong Kong. She started as a volunteer dance teacher in 1988 and founded the Srutilaya school of dance in 1991, through which she has taught over 700 students and conducted over 70 arangetrams (graduation recitials). Classes are held in a dedicated studio in Plano, Texas.
