David M. Grant Caterers was founded in 1974 by David Grant following his graduation from Quinnipiac University in Hamden, CT. What began as a part-time venture enjoyed steady growth and became a full-time business within three years. The company grew steadily throughout the next 30 years to become one of the largest off premise caterers in Fairfield and New Haven Counties. Catering everything from small backyard anniversary parties to large corporate affairs, to gala wedding celebrations and even campaign fuctions such as former President Bush's visit to CT in 1992. We have been at the forefront of the catering profession for over three decades. In 2003, David Grant's son, Dave, joined the company after graduating from the University of Vermont in Burlington. Currently with both Dave & Dave managing thecompany it has grown to sales approaching 2 million dollars per year and over 2,000 catered events annually.
