Robert Shah, BLB&G’s Managing Director of Finance, is an innovative and results-oriented finance executive with more than 30 years of experience in large, multinational, and midsize law firms. He has extensive experience in financial management, strategic planning, and operational leadership within the legal industry and is adept at driving profitability, optimizing financial operations, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. Robert’s responsibilities include the supervision and management of BLB&G’s finance department and its staff. He works closely with BLB&G’s Chief Operating Officer to ensure the continued financial security, strategic objectives, and growth of the firm’s business and fosters collaboration between the finance department and firm leadership to support these goals. Before joining BLB&G, Robert served as Director of Finance at Grais & Ellsworth LLP, Chief Financial Officer at Tannenbaum Helpern Syracuse & Hirschtritt LLP, and Controller at McCarter and English LLP as well as Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP. Robert received his B.S. in Accounting, cum laude, from the State University of New York at Buffalo with a concentration in Finance and Management Information Systems.
