Sris was amazing in helping me get my second reckless driving ticket reduced to regular speeding, allowing my insurance rate not to get raise extremely high. Before I went before the Judge Sris called me into the hall after smooth talking the prosecutor and told me it would only be fined for a regular speeding ticket rather than a second charge for reckless driving and possible license suspension. I can't believe it. I got a reckless driving ticket in Rappahannock couple months ago and I hired Sris shortly after. In August, I found myself speed trapped on a highway in VA. This road (highway) had a speed limit of 55pmh and dropped to 35 mph for the last mile. I was on Lee highway and assumed the speed limit was 65mph or 70mph (as posted often in VA and it being a HIGHWAY and all) but I was wrong. When I initially got pulled over, I thought it was for not signaling in a left only turn lane. I didn’t think I was at all speeding. Turns out I was, and the ticket would be for reckless driving which in Virginia is a Class I misdemeanor. The fines and severity of reckless driving in the state of Virginia are $2500 max fine, 6 months loss of license and up to 1 year in jail. (Yes, up to 1 year in jail). I am from NJ, we have reckless too and it is a moving violation that has consequences, but jail is not one of them. When I found this out I was very nervous and very frustrated. I could tell my instance or situation was severe because the officer, however polite or moderately polite, was very angry at my speed. Regardless of my situation or story, I was clocked doing 74 in a 35. That time of moving violation comes with a heavy price. I called a few attorney's and the one I had the nicest, fairest, most down to earth conversation with, was Sris. He was upfront, didn't sugar coat, worked right away with me, pricing was beyond fair and he provided me with all the pros, cons and possibilities without making any promises. I appreciated that. First time going to court (he represented me, while I stayed in NJ). The prosecutor wanted jail time and wasn't budging, so we decided to go to trial. Fast forward to today, my trial, I finally meet Sris and the news initially was not so good (out of his hands). Prosecutor and officer want 10 days in county jail for speeding. After hearing this, I am nervous because my wife and newborn are at home and I didn't plan at all for this. (possibly an overnight as to make amends with county for speeding and paying a small price for the possibility of a much heavier charge if they wanted to impose such on me). My insight or advice would be to listen and do what Sris and his firm ask. By provided Sris and his firm with all they requested of me prior to my trial, accompanied with his full understanding of my case, coupled with the way he presented it to the judge, I was able to drive home to my wife, tonight. He does have a “to the point” demeanor as he will not waste your time but he is a very genuine person and if he takes your case, he cares. I was looking for a lawyer for my brother's custody case and other issues that involves the CPS. I know that this cases usually get pretty ugly. I needed to find the best lawyer for him. I chose to go with Sris Law Group to represent me for my child visitation case. There were a lot of complications with the case and several hurdles that we had to deal with, but the attorneys experience and ability to handle my case was phenomenal. I got a reckless on the way to hike Old Rag Mountain in Rappahannock County, 78/55. I was looking for a lawyer in Rappahannock or a surrounding county but could not find one. My experience with SRIS is not but the best. I have been in the legal industry for 21 years and until now I have found myself in a brutal divorce. I consulted with the big name law firms and paid for the initial consultation. But I quickly realized that those big name firms were all about their profit and not really in the interest of their client. So I brought my case to SRIS and was assigned Mr. B Block. After consulting with 3 other law firms I was prepared for the same old dance and consultation. That was not the case. Mr. Block addressed the issue with passion, revived my motivation and gave me hope that I would end up in a better position on my divorce. Well I'm here to attest to that, not only did he manage to settle my case in my terms, but also educated me on not backing down. The big named law firms in the Virginia Beach area who take care of women was a joke. My wife was represented by them and only gave her grief to spend thousands of dollars to make unrealistic demands to myself and my attorney. If you want to lose a lot of money and then lose in court, hire Mr. Sris. Rescheduled my court date and didn't even bother telling me. In addition to this nerve-racking experience, did not put any effort in defending me in court the second time around. And at the end I had a feeling that he represented the prosecutor, not me. About 6 years ago I was in an unfortunate situation at a night club involving an off-duty police officer and my life took a turn for the worse.
