Dezigns by Tonya wouldn’t be the salon it is today if it weren’t for Tonya Roberds. In December of 1989, she opened up a two station salon in her garage, only advertising through word of mouth. With a growing clientele she needed more space. Tonya opened her current location with eight stations in November 1998. The business continued to flourish and in 2015, Dezigns by Tonya expanded to include a new shampoo room and a dedicated skincare room. Most recently, Tonya was named one of the BBB's Top 25 Women to Watch in 2018! She is being recognized for her forward-thinking business model, as well as her philanthropic contributions to her community.
