Dr Doppalapudi is board certified in Internal Medicine and in the subspecialties of Cardiovascular Disease and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology. He is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Cardiology at UAB, where he has received Education Excellence Awards in 2010 & 2011 as well as the 2011 Argus Award for Best Lecturer for Medical Students and the 2011 Cecil Coghlan Award for Best Teacher for fellows in the Cardiovascular Division.
