Rated 5.0 This grocery store has just about any indian food you want, as well as a bunch of foods I'd never heard of. The owner is very friendly and knowledgeable, but he can talk your ear off if you aren't careful! However, talking to him has taught me a lot about indian cuisine, and he's introduced me to some new foods.
Rated 5.0 I stopped in at this grocery store last week as I happened to be in the area. The store manager/clerk was extremely helpful, recommending items that Indian people use for good health. I bought several items, including ghee, which I have been cooking with regularly, and absolutely love - it gives everything a delicious flavor! PS. I see some reviews that suggest the store is messy -- that surprises me, because it was very organized and clean when I was there.
Rated 1.0 I visited the store once; that was enough. It did not look or smell clean. There were no prices marked on most items; I had to ask the shopkeeper what things cost and then I think he just made them up, based on what he thought I might pay. I haven't been back. There is a much nicer, cleaner, friendlier Indian grocery only a few blocks south, 28th and Arapahoe, called India Bazaar. Go there.
Rated 5.0 I have to agree with most of you! Raj was so friendly, shared his food ideas, wrote down dishes for me to try. Such a great guy. I call him now and then to say hi and to thank him for his tips. He thought me about eating healthy, using gee instead of oil and so much more. Got me excited about cooking. Yeah the store is not in the best of shape and needs a good cleaning and organizing but if you ask for help you shall receive it!! awesome experience and it keeps me going back. I love their spinach and panner and look forward to trying new stuff every time i go.
Rated 5.0 The owner was a great help. He is so kind, and his selection is amazing. I love the samosas and the "snacks". I totally recommend it if you love a good experience
