Danversport
Danversport started as a vision more than 50 years ago when Joseph DeLorenzo imagined creating a special place for the community to celebrate life’s joyous occasions. He and his wife Barbara eventually purchased this beautiful parcel of land and set out to build a “big band” style dance hall and marina. In 1970, they opened the doors to the Danversport Yacht Club and it quickly became a destination location for dinner, dancing and live music. Over the years, Danversport has flourished and grown to accommodate weddings and special events of all sizes. We’re now in the third generation of the DeLorenzo family, and we’re just as passionate as Joseph was about providing outstanding experiences in an incredible setting. We’re also excited about the steps we’re taking to improve the business and support our community through the use of solar renewable energy, recycling and vegetable farming. Rated 5.0 Our 1 year anniversary is coming up so I have been re watching our wedding video and cannot help but reflect on how amazing the Danversport staff was at our wedding. We had a very humid and rainy day, but they were prepared for us to change our ceremony from outside to inside, had a tent prepared outside for our pictures, and flipped the ceremony room into a cocktail room quickly and comfortably for us and our guests.

Rated 5.0 We just got married at Danversport this month. Our wedding was amazing, everything about our special day was just perfect!! The ceremony, reception, cocktails, food, service and the staff were great! Even when I forgot my veil, the staff handled it well. Ron & Derek were so wonderful to work with and they made sure everything ran smoothly. It was a bonus being on the water and even the weather was perfect. We couldn’t have asked for a better day & venue for our wedding!
