Hello everyone! My name is Adila and I am the owner and artist of The Art of Henna. I am based in Wallingford, Connecticut but travel all over Connecticut. I am also a Registered Nurse at Yale New Haven Hospital for over 13 years. I am also a proud mother of two beautiful girls, a wife and a homemaker. I was born in Pakistan and moved here when I was only 15. I grew up with henna as part of my culture so henna is not new to me. I did my first bride when I was in 10th grade and then again in 11th (at the age of 16 and 17). Art is my passion and my love for henna kept me in touch with the art of henna through out these years. After doing some research for over 6 months, I decided to make The Art of Henna official in 2017. I can proudly say, I am registered, insured and make my own natural henna paste. Being in medical field, safety and quality is my top priority but at the same time I believe that one should not have to pay high cost for seeking high quality. I feel truly blessed to have two jobs I am truly passionate about. Henna beyond tradition! Customized to meet your style and individuality!Temporary tattoo/body art and customized craft and candles.
