Sree Sree Sanatan Shangho

Sree Sree Sanatan Shangho is the first Hindu Temple in the Upper Darby, PA area. It has a long history before the Temple physically exist. The Bangladashi community is the initiator of this temple. They had taken this initiative around 20 years ago. At the beginning they were getting together one of their members house and discusses about the future of the Temple as well as how they can organize the next religious occasions. They had a very long term planning like to get a location in the Upper Darby for Temple and success their initiatives with the help of all Hindu people living around the area. At that time, as they did not have a fixed location or any Temple spatially exist, so, they were performing all the religious ceremonies at different places like renting an auditorium for one day or couple days. At the same time, they had been started collecting amount for establish a Temple as well as to manage the cost of the ceremony. The venerable member have tried a lot and create a partially strong committee to success their vision. At the end, all their initiatives inspired the young members. Then the venerable and young member collectively brought a place to perform their religious activities and the Bangladesh community get a success by establishing this Temple that drive from their initial initiatives. They know that they has a long way to go because there are a lot of things still need to be organize to make the initiatives perfectly successful.
