Madhumitha did a fantastic job on my getup for our Indian ceremony! She helped me put on both of my saris, jewelry, and did my makeup and hair. Her makeup work was amazingly detailed and she put a ton of effort into touching up everything. She even got very creative with my hair to achieve the style we discussed beforehand after a hairstylist cut it too short ahead of time; she took one of her hair extensions and completely covered it in flowers to achieve the long floral ponytail look and hide the difference between my hair color and the extension. It turned out beautiful! She also stuck around the entire ceremony to make sure my outfit stayed in place as we went through the various ceremonies. She is very dedicated to her work, knowledgeable about cultural traditions and very friendly as well! I highly recommend her to brides planning to perform an Indian ceremony!

It was a wonderful experience working with Madhumita. I got my make up, saree and hair done by her for wedding. The first and the best quality that I’ll say about her is that she understands her customers needs and is very adaptable, which is very helpful when it’s an event like wedding where there are always last minute changes. It is very easy to connect with her and discuss what your preferences are in make up for the event. I liked how she ensured that I get the end result that I had requested for my wedding, which was very minimal or equal to no make up. Also, I like how she Worked within the tight schedule we were on and that too very early in the morning. I even had last minute request to her for prepping my saaree for an evening event, and even though it was getting late for her for next appt. she obliged this last minute request and made sure I get a very beautiful, pleated saree at the end. It was a pleasure working with her.

I worked with Madhu Didi for my hair, makeup and saree draping for my wedding ceremony in April 2024. She is so amazing to work with and felt like family. She ironed my very heavy banarsee saree and made sure that all the pleats were correct before draping them. I also did not want super heavy makeup for my wedding and she was able to give me a super natural look. My hair looked amazing I received so many compliments. She was on time and so great to work with and also helped me to put all my jewelry on!! Definitely recommend working with her.

Madhumitha did my and my sister’s hair and makeup for my wedding reception this summer and she was incredible to work with! I didn’t have a strong view of what exactly I wanted, so she brought great suggestions and was also flexible both during the trial and day of to experiment and change things until everything was perfect! Madhumitha did my hair and makeup for my wedding and made me feel like an absolute princess. Doing my hair and makeup was no small feat for this 2 day Indian wedding. For the first day, my hair and makeup stayed in place for over 7 hours after dancing outside in the humidity and getting sweaty. Not one hair was out of place or frizzy, and not one part of my makeup smudged at all due to her amazing work. She also draped my sari and lehenga beautifully, making sure the pleats and pins did not move when I was dancing like a crazy person. For the second day, she added hair extensions, fresh flowers, and jeweled bobby pins which were all perfectly positioned and once again helped with the sari draping so beautifully. I had to change to a 9-yard sari mid-ceremony and she helped drape that beautifully as well. It all stayed through the ceremony which had an outdoor part in the RAIN! After the ceremony where people threw rice in my hair, she did not complain one bit and transitioned my hair and makeup into my evening look which I received numerous compliments on. I gave Madhumitha photos of makeup and hairstyles that I wanted and she nailed it, making me look even better than the inspiration photos. She is such a kind and sweet person and asks what you want, emphasizing your natural beauty instead of caking on tons of makeup. I highly recommend her for any event and wish I was getting married again just so I could work with her once more!
