I’ve been a Makeup Artist (MUA) for the last 8 years from bridal to runway! I started out from helping friends and family achieve their best looks for their events. After getting positive responses & a lot of encouragement, I decided to pursue my dream as a MUA through my start up called “Makeup by Shays”. I worked for M.A.C. to deepen my knowledge of makeup. My company received great success in San Antonio & the surrounding areas. I have perfected my makeup skills by working with different skin types, age groups and various ethnicities. Makeup by Shays has provided services for brides, wedding parties & special events. Being a makeup artist I have seen my client’s skin up close in person. Through this journey I have realized that most of my clients do not have proper knowledge about how to apply and maintain their skin care routine.
