Daces Rock
Dace's Rock 'n' More Music Academy started life in the summer of 2005 as The School of Rock. Since then we changed our name and became non-profit so that we could achieve the goals as mandated by our mission statement.We’ve already given private musical instrument lessons to hundreds of kids in the area. We’ve taught a couple dozen up-and-coming bands how to get their act together and take it on the road. We’ve helped them take it on the road at our highly-attended Rockcitals,,. We’ve taught many of them to stand up and sing beautifully even after so many people in their lives had told them that they couldn’t hit a single note correctly. We’ve given a lot of shy, introverted kids the power and self-esteem to get up in front of large crowds and express themselves. At the same time, we’ve given outgoing, hyperactive kids a positive, safe, and fun way to use their extra energy.
