Saurabh Sanghvi focuses his practice on complex litigation matters, with a particular emphasis on government and regulatory affairs litigation and government investigations and criminal litigation. Mr. Sanghvi joined the firm in 2013 after serving as a law clerk to the Hon. Lewis Kaplan of the US District Court for the Southern District of New York, and to the Hon. Reena Raggi of the US Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.Prior to completing his clerkships, Mr. Sanghvi served in various government internships and fellowships. These included positions with the Senate Judiciary Committee, the Office of Mayor Cory Booker in Newark, New Jersey, the Office of White House Counsel, the US Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York and the US Department of Treasury. As part of his clinical work at law school, Mr. Sanghvi argued a case before the Second Circuit.Before beginning his legal career, Mr. Sanghvi was a commodities strategist at Goldman Sachs, where he structured and modeled complex derivatives tied to energy, metals and agricultural prices.
