Saqib Z. Hossain is a Boston attorney and a member of Holland & Knight's Public Policy & Regulation Group. Mr. Hossain focuses his practice on a wide variety of transactional and regulatory matters in the energy space, with a concentration on renewable energy projects.Mr. Hossain represents project developers, investors and other public and private entities in the financing, development, permitting, construction and litigation of power generation and transmission facilities. In addition, Mr. Hossain is experienced with advising clients on corporate merger and acquisition (M&A) transactions involving energy and non-energy assets.As part of his practice, Mr. Hossain has also represented various energy companies, trade associations, ratepayer groups and municipalities before federal and state regulatory agencies and courts in connection with energy infrastructure and policy matters.Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Hossain served as in-house counsel to a Boston-based national solar development company.
