Faiza is an associate attorney here at O’Connell Law LLC. She focuses on estate planning, elder law, Medicaid and veterans benefits planning, and trust and probate administration. Prior to joining O’Connell Law LLC, Faiza was Of Counsel at the Law Office of Lisa A. Modecker and Associates, where she practiced immigration and family law. During her time there she handled all aspects of her cases, from inception to completion, with the highest level of client service. Faiza received her B. A. in Political Science and Legal Studies from the University at Buffalo in 2006 and her J. D. from New England School of Law in 2009. During law school, Faiza was a law clerk at the firm of deBenedictis, Miller & Blum. She also interned at the Massachusetts State Ethics Commission, where she drafted advisory opinions and memoranda, and performed extensive research towards amending the Commission’s regulations regarding attorney-client privilege. Faiza is admitted to practice law in Massachusetts. She is also qualified to provide Limited Assistance Representation (LAR). Faiza comes from a South Asian background and is fluent in Urdu, and verbally fluent in Punjabi and Hindi as well. She is happily married and has two cats, Gizmo and Jalebi. In her free time, Faiza enjoys reading, traveling, and spending quality time with family and friends. She is also a freelance makeup artist and loves to make brides feel and look their best!
