Tony Devassy, CFP, Principal of Devassy Asset Advisors, has over 25 years of experience providing excellent financial advice to his clients. From 1983 to 2003, he served as a financial advisor with American Express Financial Advisors Inc., where he was recognized for outstanding service to his customers and his community. While at American Express, Tony was the recipient of the Great Citizen Award in 2000. The award, presented to only 150 employees out of 100,000 worldwide, recognizes exemplary service to one's community and clients. American Express also awarded Tony with the Financial Advisors President Recognition in 2000 for Advanced Quality Advice. He was selected as a member of the elite Advanced Advisor Group, Silver Team in 1998. Tony served as a board member for the St. Joseph Hospital Foundation of Joliet, IL for eight years, and was a board member of the World-India Diabetes Foundation of Rochester, MN, for six years. He is the Chartered President of Care & Share, an International Charitable Organization, which raises thousands of dollars for needy children and families. Tony is married to Dr. Elsy Devassy, who is a practicing psychiatrist in Joliet, IL. Together with their three daughters, they enjoy traveling, fishing, and staying involved in their community and various charitable organizations.
