The Bankruptcy & Creditors’ Rights Group at Norris McLaughlin & Marcus, P.A., consists of 15 attorneys providing a full range of legal and consultation services in all areas of debtor/creditor rights and bankruptcy law. We represent numerous creditors (including financial institutions, mortgage companies, insurance companies, health care institutions and other corporations), creditors’ committees, debtors, trustees and others involved in bankruptcy litigation.

The Business Law Group at Norris McLaughlin & Marcus includes nearly forty attorneys who spend all or most of their time in a variety of specialties within the field of corporate law. The Executive Compensation & Employee Benefits Practice Group at Norris McLaughlin & Marcus, P.A., co-chaired by David T. Harmon and Charles A. Bruder, brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to both employers and professionals in a wide range of industries. The Intellectual Property Group at Norris McLaughlin & Marcus is dedicated to providing sophisticated intellectual property counsel to domestic and international clients having a technology base or a need for trademark and copyright counsel. Our Labor & Employment Group counsels private and public sector clients on a wide range of issues, including workforce counseling; labor and employee relations; corporate and workforce compliance; review and updating employment policies and procedures; employment litigation; unfair competition and trade secrets; privacy and e-discovery issues.

The Litigation Group at Norris McLaughlin & Marcus includes over 60 attorneys, many with a wealth of trial experience, who often provide services to more than one practice group. We appear in state and federal courts in New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania, and regularly supervise litigation in many other jurisdictions in the United States. Our attorneys also handle private arbitrations, as well as contested cases before a wide variety of state and federal administrative agencies. Our extensive experience enables us to respond quickly, even in complex cases. Whenever it becomes clear that resolution of a dispute will require an adversary proceeding, regardless of the precise forum, the firm prepares to dedicate maximum efforts to achieve positive results for our client. Located in the center of one of the nation’s largest concentration of pharmaceutical companies, Norris McLaughlin & Marcus has represented clients in pharmaceutical, medical device and related industries for over two decades. The Public Utility Law Group at Norris McLaughlin & Marcus practices primarily before the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities and other federal and state regulatory agencies that supervise public utilities. The attorneys in the Norris McLaughlin & Marcus Tax Department have vast experience in all aspects of state, federal and international tax law. Many in this diverse group of attorneys hold a Masters Degree in tax law and they frequently lecture on tax and business issues to organizations such as the tax sections of the American Bar Association, the New Jersey State Bar Association and the Society of Certified Public Accountants.
