In 1989, attorney Kerry Lavelle launched Lavelle Legal Services. From that single attorney practice, our firm has evolved into today’s Lavelle Law, Ltd. While our original emphasis on matters of tax law is still prevalent in much of our work today, the firm has grown to include twenty-six attorneys with practice groups in Tax, Business Law, Litigation, Real Estate, Family Law, Estate Planning, Immigration Law, Bankruptcy, Criminal Law, Health Law, Practice Management, Employment Law, Securities, and Banking Law. As our mission statement says, if we provide exceptional legal services at fair prices we believe we will have a client for life. To that end, we are very pleased that many of the clients who placed their trust in us over two decades ago are still with us today. We do know that as your business and personal needs change, your legal needs change with them. That is why our approach has always been to create a plan that is right for your immediate needs, then work with you over time to make sure that your home, family, business, or estate are always protected and secure as your needs evolve. Over the years, the needs of our firm changed as well. In June 2003, we relocated our main office from the Chicago Loop to the suburbs where at we have launched a variety of community service initiatives that have allowed us to pursue our mission of extending charitable works to those in need throughout our the community.
