Kuruvilla Olasa is a partner in the Los Angeles office of Munger, Tolles & Olson, specializing in high-stakes litigation with a strong focus on complex antitrust matters. He also provides strategic counsel to clients in the technology and entertainment industries on antitrust considerations related to mergers and acquisitions, helping them navigate regulatory challenges and compliance issues. Before joining the firm, Mr. Olasa served as a law clerk to Judge Sandra Ikuta of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and to Judge A. Howard Matz of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. These clerkships provided him with valuable insights into federal court proceedings and enhanced his litigation skills. Mr. Olasa earned his J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law, where he was elected to the Order of the Coif in recognition of his academic excellence. While at Berkeley, he served as an articles editor for both the California Law Review and the Berkeley Technology Law Journal. He holds a Bachelor of Science in computer science from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Olasa worked as a software engineer, leveraging his technical expertise to inform his legal practice in the technology sector.
