Kirti Sarkar is an associate in the San Francisco office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher and a member of the firm’s Real Estate Practice Group.Ms. Sarkar’s practice is principally focused on representing lenders and borrowers in the origination of mortgage and mezzanine loans secured by various types of real estate collateral including office, multifamily, retail, hotel, healthcare and mixed use properties. She has significant experience financing complex collateral including ground-leased properties and condominiums. She also represents lenders buying and selling whole loans, notes and participations. Ms. Sarkar also has experience representing CMBS servicers in connection with loan assumptions, equity transfers, and other loan modifications and borrower requests.
