Chintan Desai is an associate at Kim Winston LLP. Since beginning with Kim Winston LLP, he has acquired a breadth of knowledge and experience in patent, copyright and trademark law. Mr. Desai’s practice focuses on all phases of patent procurement, trademark prosecution and counseling at Kim Winston LLP. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Desai worked as an associate at a prominent suburban law firm where he acquired valuable experience on contractual matters and litigation including bankruptcy, construction and labor disputes. Prior to entering the practice of law, Mr. Desai worked as a clinical research study coordinator at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania for several years. As a clinical research study coordinator, Mr. Desai facilitated interaction and collaboration between community, government and industry stakeholders in several community health research studies, and draws upon this experience to better counsel and serve his client’s needs. Mr. Desai received his Bachelor of Science degree in Bioengineering from the University of Pennsylvania. He received his J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law-Camden, where he was an editor for the Rutgers Journal of Law & Religion. Aside from his years of work experience, Mr. Desai is an active member of a variety of associations, including the South Asian Bar Association of New Jersey, Asian Pacific American Lawyers Association of New Jersey and Pennsylvania, Association of Intellectual Property Firms and Camden County Bar Association. Besides being a dedicated professional, Mr. Desai is an avid Philadelphia sports fan.
