Erik Bierbauer is a Litigation Counsel at NBC Universal, where he handles a variety of litigation matters involving broadcast, cable and Internet media properties. Previously, Mr. Bierbauer was a Counsel at Debevoise & Plimpton LLP. He began teaching the course "Old Media, New Media, the Internet and the First Amendment" at Fordham Law in spring 2011. In fall 2011, he taught a law and ethics course as an adjunct professor at the City University of New York Graduate School of Journalism. Mr. Bierbauer has written or co-authored articles and treatises on media law matters and was a member of the Media and Communications Law Committee of the New York City Bar Association from 2005 to 2008.
