About Durie Tangri

Sonal has litigated high-stakes patent and technology disputes on behalf of clients ranging from startups to the Fortune 50, across a wide-range of industries, from semiconductor to cellular to video game technologies. Her experience spans all aspects of trial and appellate practice, including federal jury trials, state court jury and bench trials, International Trade Commission investigations, and commercial arbitrations. Outside of the courtroom, Sonal teaches Patent Litigation at her alma mater UC Berkeley School of Law and has presented programs on patent litigation at Federal Judicial Center workshops for federal district and magistrate judges. She is a frequent speaker on patent litigation topics, and serves on the Board of Directors of the Federal Circuit Bar Association and of the Northern District of California's Practice Program.
