About Bhumi A Patel Attorney

Bhumi regularly represents lenders, and serves as counsel for several area banks, where she reviews real estate title work, supervises real estate closings, and drafts loan documents. Her practice also involves the drafting and negotiating of contracts and leases for numerous business owners. Bhumi has lived in South Carolina most of her life but moved to the Myrtle Beach area at the start of her first job at DesChamps Law Firm where she worked for six years. There she handled mostly foreclosure and bank loan workouts. Her other past experience includes mechanics’ liens, construction, and foreclosure litigation. In addition to her real estate work, Bhumi has also assisted with the formation of special tax districts in Horry County. Bhumi is actively involved in the South Carolina Women Lawyers Association as a member of the Board of Directors and also as the representative for the Grand Strand regional area.
