Amritaa’s practice focuses on the preparation and prosecution of patent applications before the US Patent and Trademark Office in various technology areas, including medical devices, pharmaceuticals, mechanical devices, and financial industry software. Amritaa also provides litigation support for patent infringement cases, most recently involving the computer animation and garment industries. Amritaa’s academic background includes a Bachelors in Mathematics with a minor in Mechanical Engineering from MIT and a Master of Science in Engineering with a major in Bioengineering from the University of Pennsylvania. She has conducted research in the application of machine learning techniques in predicting epileptic events, neuroengineering, computational neuroscience, concussions and brain trauma, and brain-computer interfaces.
