Sridharini Sridharan is a Bharathanatiyam dancer from Chennai ( India) who moved to Portland in 2014. She is a disciple of Guru Smt. Revathi Ramachandran of the Melattur style and has been under her guidance for over 20 years. She has performed in numerous dance festivals in India and has extensively travelled France and USA as a member of her Guru’s troupe . She has formally trained in Nattuvangam under her Guru and has accompanied her as a member of the Orchestra . She has a diploma in Bharathanatiyam ( higher grade) and Carnatic Music ( Lower grade) offered by the Government of Tamil Nadu ( India). She is also a classically trained singer and currently learns from Smt. Vasanthi Ramesh. She is a Chartered Accountant by profession and a dancer by passion. Minimum participant age is 5 years and above.
