Good place for Indian grocery also get fresh vegetables ??
Great collection, as always, of Indian groceries. Hot snacks like samosas, dhoklas etc available. Freshly made roti, fresh vegetables available. I had jamun juice after a long time. Blueberries were sour though. Frozen Indian food also available. Overall, a good Indian store.
They've upgraded the store, making it more spacious and lively than it used to be. Indian grocery quality is better than most stores in the area, especially the green vegetables and many tropical/equatorial fruits not otherwise available in US supermarkets. Cleanliness and hygiene were observed to be good with a clean and much more organized. Their snack expiration is also comparable to what it should be, I have never found any product on the shelves with a stale expired date which is a very healthy sign. They have a separate fresh Indian bread/roti section. Few years back, I had noticed them opening the ready snack packets into containers marked as freshly made snack but they seem to have discontinued that practice (although I've seen it followed at few stores in South Brunswick so be aware and mindful). Overall, it's a great store for Indian grocery shopping and has been one of the better places to shop in terms of food quality.
Fruit and vegetable prices are very affordable
One stop indian grocery store. Very fresh vegetables and lots of selections.
Good overall experience - the have recently paid attention to keeping the place clean
All fresh desi groceries and everything desi in best price, love it!
I love this store. I buy fresh pan leaves and also fresh cut up coconut for making my own coconut milk yogurt
The store is well organized. It has fresh vegetables, live and freshly made Indian snacks and rotis, sweets, and other products from India and some American products. Usually, they also have festival related items placed in the entrance as soon as you enter for limited time. The employees are helpful and know where everything is in the store. They also have a Patel Brothers Rewards card. I didn't know until I saw someone use it at the checkout line. Ask the employees if you're interested
Plenty of spices and fresh veggies for any exotic recipe
Great selection of groceries, lentils and basically all Indian meal prep items including the utensils.
Amazing store ..to get authentic Indian stuff from food to agarbatti and gangajal !! Nice staff .. and good quality
Has all the Indian groceries you need, at reasonable prices and variety. Plus is the fresh snacks made on site for purchase as well
This place is organized and very clean. The staff and management are very friendly and they are willing to help and walk you to the items you are asking for. The inventory to see is huge, prices are more reasonable cand much cheaper than Apna Bazar.
My go to Indian store in the area. The people working there are helpful and kind. They carry most stuff you need and really appreciate their produce section which is normally fully stocked.
Good Fresh Vegetables with all options are available. Ready to Eat Naans, Chapattis are very good to try. Well organised place and very neatly maintained.
Good place to buy Indian groceries, All Indian items you will get including Vegetables, Snacks, sweets, Utensils and also frozen items. They have some additional items which are not available in other Patel Brothers. There are other nearby Patel Brothers near my home, I still prefer coming here, Not too crowded like other locations and ample parking spaces as well. All the staff is too friendly and respectful. Selection of Vegetables is the best here. My recommendation you should try thier Savory items from their food outlet inside the mart.
A perfect place to get Indian grocery. They have fresh vegetables , fruits and tonne of dry snacks. They also make fresh roti and parathas and sell in bunch of 10 or 25. The store was incredibly well-stocked, with a wide variety of authentic Indian spices, sauces, and ingredients. The produce section was fresh and colorful, offering a range of exotic fruits and vegetables that are difficult to find elsewhere. The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, always available to offer recommendations or answer any questions I had. I was also impressed with the prices, which were very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the products. I was able to find everything I was looking for, and more, to make traditional Indian dishes at home. The store also offered a selection of frozen foods and ready-made meals, which were convenient and delicious.
Patel Brothers is an absolute gem and my go-to for all things South Asian groceries! Every visit feels like a culinary adventure. The selection is truly unparalleled – from fresh, vibrant produce to an incredible array of spices, dals, flours, and frozen goods, they have everything you could possibly need, and often things you didn't even know you needed! The produce section is always well-stocked and incredibly fresh, which is a huge plus. I particularly appreciate the variety of unique vegetables and fruits that are hard to find elsewhere. Their spice aisle alone is worth the trip, offering an extensive range with fantastic quality and competitive prices. Beyond the staples, I love exploring their ready-made snacks, sweets, and frozen Indian meals for those nights I don't feel like cooking from scratch. The staff are consistently friendly and helpful, always willing to assist if you can't find something or have a question. The store is well-organized, making it easy to navigate despite its vast inventory. It's a clean and welcoming environment that truly caters to the community. If you're looking for authentic Indian groceries and a fantastic shopping experience, look no further than Patel Brothers. It's a five-star experience every time!
Patel Brothers on Route 27 has consistently been my go-to Indian grocery store in the area. The store is well-stocked with a wide variety of authentic Indian products, from fresh produce and pantry staples to snacks, frozen foods, and specialty items. It’s especially convenient for finding regional spices, lentils, and ready-to-eat items that are hard to come by elsewhere. The produce section is usually fresh and well-organized, and I appreciate how frequently they restock popular items. Their selection of sweets, flours, and pickles is also impressive. While weekends can get a bit crowded, the staff does a good job managing the flow, and checkout lines move fairly quickly. I’ve also noticed improvements in cleanliness and layout over the last year, which shows they are listening to customer feedback. Overall, a reliable and essential stop for Indian groceries in central Jersey.

Needless to mention, sweets play a part in adding joy to our lives. It doesn’t matter where we live or where we travel to, we can see the love people have for sweets in their different varieties. This is the main reason sweet shops tend to enjoy a great customers base all through the year.
India boasts of a glittering past, diverse cultures, a whole host of languages, and friendly people. However, India is also known for its food. Apart from the numerous main course dishes from various parts of the country, India’s traditional sweets and snacks too, are well-known.
No matter how old one is, saying ‘NO!’ to candies and sweets is a pretty tough task. Obviously, you should keep your candy consumption in check, especially if you face certain medical conditions. But if you live in Los Angeles and have a sweet craving, you are in luck. I have got a list of the finest candy shops in the city. Candy shoppers, take note! Dylan’s Candy Bar
