Social Dance Studio
The Journey begins when you take your first Steps! Adult Ballroom Dance and Dancesport studio. We offer group classes and private lessons, for general dancing or for special events, with no contracts. Also, we have several dance events to practice or introduce you to the dance world, No partners needed. On Fridays we have our open ballroom dance, filled with a mixture of current and traditional dance music. The atmosphere is very casual and request are always welcome. On Saturdays, we feature some specialty dances. From Jean Guild's "Swingin' to the Blues , Steppin' to Country" (a mixture of Swing, Hustle and Country 2-step with a smidgen of ballroom), to the Milonga (an Argentine Tango dance) hosted by Jackie and Ricardo, to our Singles Dance ( a chance to learn to dance and meet someone new) and our College Ballroom dance Night (a chance for College students to work on their competition style), our studio has many opportunities to practice what you learn. On the Fourth Sunday of the month, the studio does a Tea Dance. A semi-formal event, it features a "Strictly Ballroom" style with refreshments and more traditional ballroom music. Private Lessons are also available by appointment during non-business hours. So whether you just want to learn to dance for fun or have a special event (wedding, reunion, Ballroom Competition etc) you want to learn for, Social Dance Studio can do it all. Learning to dance is fun, it is good for the brain and the body and the instructors are really good. Young or old, you make lots of new friends who are great and very friendly. I love it.
