Kala Upasana Music and Dance Academy, an endeavor to explore and experience Indian classical arts. Our academy teaches Carnatic music, Veena and Bharatanatyam. We conduct the classes in New Jersey, USA and offer classes via online. We offer sessions for children with disabilities. Kala Upasana is an effort started in 2007 to inculcate interest in the Indian Classical Arts in the minds of young children. Learning and practicing music and Dance is like yoga for mind and body. “Art washes away from the soul, the dust of everyday life.” - Picasso. For some of us, it is a way to stay in touch with our culture and for our children it is to learn about the roots. Others learn the Indian Classical Arts as it expands their horizon and broaden their outlook. Kala Upasana Music and Dance academy teaches music and dance in its true form.
