It has taken me a day or two to write this review as I was busy tending to my feet. Tending? - you may ask. Well that is what happens when Matt is your DJ and the dance party starts in the evening and goes way past midnight because no one wants to miss a beat ?? Thanks Matt for keeping the party rolling and making our special couple celebrating their silver jubilee, dance to your carefully selected peppy numbers. You went above and beyond and turned the DJ service to karaoke without skipping a beat. Trust me you will be getting a lot of calls for your excellent service for quiet a number of milestone celebrations coming up in our group of friends. Once again thank you for everything you did to make our party a major success. ??

DJ Kabir did an outstanding job and made sure everything was transitioned well. He made sure to arrive early and work on all the last minute adjustments to work closely with our planner and event staff. He also spent extensive time working with individuals of our party before the ceremony to ensure the mixes were perfect. Would highly recommend for his ability to provide great service. He was very active and involved during the entire process and listened to our wishes. Thank you DJ Kabir for a terrific night, it was truly a night to remember.

We had an amazing time working with DJ Kabir and his partner, Ishpreet. They did an incredible job at every single one of our wedding events in Cancun, Mexico. Kabir was super easy to work with and was always available to help out in any way he could. Our guests LOVED his music, he kept the dance floor filled with his great choice of music. Ishpreet did a phenomenal job at playing the dhol and at MC'ing to keep our events running smoothly. I would hire Kabir again in a heartbeat for any of our future events. Kabir was nothing short of amazing - super responsive, professional, helpful and fun to work with leading up to our event, and absolutely above and beyond delivered on the day of our sangeet! He was truly the reason that we all had so much fun - he is super talented and knows how to keep the crowd going. He showed up on time, executed everything perfectly, had a great team of dhol players with him, and couldn't have been nicer/more fun to be around. We cannot recommend Kabir more highly - I am so so happy we worked with him for our wedding!

We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ for our son and his now wife’s Sangeet Night. Kabir is absolutely fantastic and so personable!! He was prompt and on time, and he emceed the evening’s program with no problems. Most importantly though, the music was so insanely energetic. The set was beyond what we had imagined! We got all genres of music! Not a soul was sitting out hitting the dance floor! If we’re ever looking for a DJ again, he’s the one!! We love Desi Beatz Entertainment!!!

?DJ Kabir is absolutely phenomenal. We approached him based on reviews and his Instagram page. And after that it was a seamless process. He was wonderful to work with and personalized the playlist to include some of our favorites. He also attended the venue walkthroughs with us to help us plan the layout and also help us think through elements unrelated to audio. We danced for 3 straight hours and so did our guests ?across ages 3 to 80. Ankur, the dholi, brought in amazing energy and was a unique element to our reception. The lighting was great. ?The ?photo ?booth was very well done. The props were fun and there was something for everyone. We got the photos very soon after the event, and they are a great addition to the photos from our photographer.? Having Kabir and Ankur made all the difference to our celebrations. It's an enthusiastic yes from us!

We reached out to Matt (Desi Beatz Entertainment) after seeing him perform at a couple of family parties. Matt was responsive to our initial request for quote. He walked us through the process and provided a fair cost for his services. He came out promptly to perform a site survey. On the day of the event Matt was on time and had all his setup ready to go before the guests arrived. Lights, Sound, Music and the Photo Booth were all a hit! Matt had the dance floor packed all night and catered to guest song requests. Highly recommend Matt!

Hiring Kabir was easily our best wedding decision. He went above and beyond by 1) scoping the venue for us 2) coordinating with the priest; 3) ensuring the right music was played at the right time; 4) giving us recommendations when we felt lost; 4) making sure our ceremony and reception ran on time and; 5) kept a cool head when we ran into issues with other vendors and helped make adjustments to our schedules. I would give him a 11/10. I would recommend everyone reading this to connect with him even if you are undecided. He is very easy to talk to and is super understanding. All our friends and families are looking forward to working with him for future parties and weddings.

Don’t hesitate and just book Desi Beatz for your wedding events! My husband and I are so happy that we worked with Kabir on our special day. So communicative, friendly and upfront about what services they provided (and they offer a ton! We went with the DJ & photobooth packages). He was not only just the DJ for our reception, but he was the host, emcee, and coordinator. He truly lent support to every aspect of our day and was the reason it went so smoothly. Our guests loved the photobooth as well and it was great entertainment for our guests. Our event was a traditional Pakistani reception (the groom’s culture) with guests from other different cultures, as my family is Chinese-Vietnamese. Whatever I say is not enough for how accomadating and proffessional Kabir is. From the first call, he was super friendly, responsive and willing to help make the event the way we want it. I think we had a pretty complex evening with need for live streaming, some pre recorded speeches and need for projector, but he made it seem all natural and simple. He was in touch with me and my brother regarding multitude of itenary changes during the evening and really just went with the flow. As for the music and lights, amazing. High quality speakers, greating lighting, awesome fog machine and great beats thru the whole night, he was also playing all special request songs all evening. I think i know who ill be calling and reffering to for all my DMV DJ needs

Wow, wow, wow, and one more time for the people in the back: WOW!!! DJ Kabir was everything and more we could have hoped for (and I was a wedding DJ for a spell so the expectations were high). We had a DIY reception-only affair (courthouse wedding last year), so we were looking for the music to not just be a mood setter, but capture bits of ourselves and our families. We wanted a little bit of all the good stuff, so much so it was almost hard to nail down a playlist. What would work, what won’t? Whats too niche or too new or to old gahhh!! This is where Kabir came in. His kind and warm demeanor really made us feel we were in good hands. He was available for any questions and was even kind enough to do a site visit beforehand. And then the day came. Firstly, what a set up! The lighting, the ambience! Secondly, what care! Kabir indulged us with a garba set that was supposed to be 15 miniutes and went 30. And then, MC Ishpreet! What an addition to the party. As Kabir tore up the floor, Ish’s dhol just amped up to the max. And what else to say? We danced and danced and danced. Every song was a banger, every beat felt like the apex. It wasn’t until days afterward looking at all of the fun videos from the night of people on the dancefloor we realized, “Damn our wedding really was an epic party.” All owed to Kabir and his team! Kabir and his team were wonderful to work with for my sister’s wedding this summer. Communication was very timely, they were able to set up and figure things out throughout the multiple events we had for the wedding and everyone in our family had so many compliments for them in terms of the music they played and their professionalism in executing the programs successfully. We had also asked last minute for a dhol player and they actually surprised us at the reception with this which everyone was very happy with and loved seeing!
