About Nicholas P.Zalany
Nicholas P. Zalany focuses his practice on general and complex commercial litigation matters, including in the areas of commercial contract disputes, business torts and insurance coverage disputes. In addition, Nick has experience litigating intellectual property infringement actions. Prior to joining the firm, Nick worked in both the private and public sectors, including as an associate in the Columbus office of a national boutique litigation firm and as a staff attorney for two Ohio state court judges. While in law school, Nick clerked for a boutique intellectual property firm in Paris, France, where he worked on IP litigation and transactional matters. Nick is a volunteer for the Legal Aid Society of Columbus’s Pro Bono Wills Clinic and has also frequently served as a volunteer judge for his law school alma mater’s moot court and lawyering skills program. He is also a Chapter Leader for the Columbus Chapter of the Case Western Reserve University Alumni Association. Nick is the author of “The European Union Constitution and its Effects on Federalism in the EU,” published in the Ohio State Law Journal in 2005.
