About Danelle Gagliardi
Danelle Gagliardi is an associate in the Environmental, Safety & Health Practice. She focuses on all aspects of environmental compliance and litigation with a strong background in the Clean Water Act (CWA), Clean Air Act (CAA), National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA). While in law school, Danelle interned for Judge Jeffrey S. Sutton on the US Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. She also won Washington University’s Environmental Moot Court competition, earned the CALI Excellence Award in Environmental Litigation, and published her Note on the shale boom in China and the US in Washington University’s Global Studies Law Review. Interested in policy as well as law, Danelle worked at the Missouri Energy Initiative, where she drafted legislative materials to communicate energy policy issues to stakeholders and elected officials. Also interested in how energy and environmental law works in a global context, Danelle recently obtained a Master of Laws from the University of Queensland, T.C. Bierne School of Law in Australia, where she served as the Nuclear Energy Project Leader at the Dow Centre for Sustainable Engineering Innovation.
