CYNTHIA ANANDAJAYASEKERAM practices in the M&A group in the firm’s New York office. Cynthia’s experience includes representing public and private clients in the media, energy, resources, consumer goods, aquaculture, infrastructure and industrial property development sectors, among others, in relation to M&A, private equity, restructuring, funds management and financial services regulation, as well as general corporate and governance matters. Cynthia also has experience representing debt and equity investors in conventional U.S. leveraged leases, cross-border transactions, refinancing transactions and securitization transactions in connection with aircraft finance. Prior to joining Sidley, Cynthia was an associate at a leading international law firm in Sydney, Australia, where she practiced in the M&A and Capital Markets group.
