Brian Halberg advises clients involved in the acquisition, development, financing, leasing and sale of commercial real estate. He has handled complicated real estate matters pertaining to a number of the most well-known properties in New York City, including the MetLife Building, The Plaza Hotel and The Helmsley Building. Brian also spent several years on the business side of the real estate market. He played a key role in the development of the Trump SoHo Hotel in his role as a senior project executive and general counsel. He has also been involved in other hospitality ventures, including the acquisition of a 220,000 square foot development site in midtown Manhattan on behalf of a European hotel developer and its operator partner. Prior to law school, Brian served in the Clinton White House as a member of the Offices of Public Liaison and Speechwriting.
