Overall good experience. Staff were friendly and courteous. Packing people were good. I was bit scared when I saw the condition of boxes in indian customs port, but luckily there was no damage to any of my items. Not sure whether everybody can be lucky. I would defintely recommend my friends to try them for relocation.

Recently availed services to move from NJ to Bengaluru. Happy to report all the stuff reached, no significant loss. The sales and other teams were very communicative. Available most times to answer questions, revise quotes as we changed our mind (as it happens). Team in Chennai lacked in communication, or may be it did not live up to standards set by NJ team. When the stuff reached Chennai - there was some lack of clarity on when the stuff will reach our place. But once got to Bengaluru, it was promptly delivered. And all good. Overall satisfactory service.

It was a pleasure working with Universal Relocations Inc. They are professionals. I chose them based on the recommendation from a friend of mine who used them in the past. I took a 40 feet full load container from USA to India with door to door service. Every item shipped reached me without any issues except couple of glass wares due to minor issues with packing of those items. They were available to answer any questions any time. I would use them in the future also.

Overall service was good, I moved from NJ, usa to India. Packaging was good on my 65 inch TV , it arrived without damages. The packaging on glass/porcelain items was not good , they used paper for wrapping these items so some of them broke. They should use bubble wrap for fragile items

I used Universal Relocations to move my stuff from US- NJ to Kerala. I called them many times asking doubts but the staff in NJ were very polite and were so helpful. My stuff were picked up from NJ and was delivered to my place in Kerala. My only concern was that the consignment got delayed by few weeks. Otherwise it was all good and I would use their service again!

The US side of things are better and the staff was extremely helpful to accommodate the moving of 17 boxes within a day's time. The weekly updates were also fine till it came to Chennai. Once it landed in Chennai and till it came to ICD in Bangalore, it was a mess! The local Bangalore staff however were good again. Apart from incomplete info and missing updates for the last three weeks before the inspection, everything was good.

Delivery was done without damage and the handling was good. NO ISSUE WITH SHIPPING QUALITY. But would have given all stars if the transition time would have been done in lesser time.. expected time was 3 months but ended up getting it around 5 months and had to do multiple followup from my end..

Just wanted to share my experience with Universal Relocations if ur moving boxes from US to India. They charge around 100-120 per box of 50lb. More the boxes the per box value would be less.But you have to pay 1000 INR per box in India for port transfer and storing the boxes.This is not included and will not be informed when you request for a quote. It will take 60 to 120 days for ur parcel to reach.. Only send if u are really keen on using all those stuff..

BEFORE THE BOOKING: Good amount of information was provided to me which helped in packaging properly myself. AFTER SALES: Proper tracking is not available and it seemed like they forgot my package in one of the hubs while transferring. I had to follow up then they picked my package and then continuous follow up but proper online tracking is not available. TIME taken from USA to India: 4 months. ADDITIONAL CHARGES: I was informed at the time of sale that the quote was final but I was charged unloading charges and inspection charges from port which amounted to about 50 usd for 4 boxes. FINAL RECEIPT: Although the packaging was not very sturdy (cartons only) but still the items inside were intact. the items included crockery, sunglasses, glass frames etc.

Good Service by Universal Relocations. I shipped 6 boxes from USA to India. Their communication was good throughout despite minor delays. Although the customs department did some minor damage to my stuff but that is outside the scope of Universal Relocations. I would recommend Universal Relocations for moving stuff internationally.

I wanted to move from the US to India (Chennai). It took about 80 to 90 days to arrive at the Port in Chennai. Few days later, I was asked to submit few documents for port unloading and inspection process. 1 week later I was asked to come to a location near port and someone drove me to the container house where I waited for more than an hour for arrival of the officer, which is fine. To my surprise, the items I packed was super handled and not even a single damage to my boxes. The thing is, I packed all the boxes my self. The booking rep Venkat told me to buy 'heavy duty' boxes which is the best option to safe your items. He also gave me a good deal. I'd like to thank Jyotsnaa also whom I was in touch in the beginning for quotations and provided me a lot of options. Overall, the service is good. They charged me a little bit for port and detention charges which they could have discounted, but that's fine. I'm happy as my items arrived safely. Thanks team!

The overseas delivery is fast and smooth. I am impressed with the speed of international delivery from China to US. All my fragile stuff are intact. Just on the delivery day, the movers are a little impatient to unpack all my stuff and take away all the packing materials, which is supposedly included in the service package. I would say overall, it’s a satisfactory experience.

We recently used Universal Relocations for our move from US to India. It was a pleasant experience in terms reliability, ease, communication etc. Everything was picked up from door and was delivered at the door at destination without any issues. The only reason why I am giving 4 star instead of 5 is one of the box was open when we received. It was probably opened by customs but expected Universal to reinforce the packaging post customs verification. It is important to note that all items were intact.

I moved from US to India recently and have heard about Universal Relocations from my colleagues. The experience was great. The pickup was a little troublesome, but the delivery was flawless. Thanks to Huzaina for the seamless co-ordination. I would've rated 5 stars but the 1 star is missing just for the delay of the shipment. It was estimated to me as 3 months and it took almost 4+ months for the shipment to arrive. Even though all the payments and responses were made in time from my end.

I used Universal relocation to move my boxes from Miami to Pune. Based on my experience below are pro's and Cons's Pro's 1. very professional and the staff is very good. they explain you in detail. My sales person Pallavi was very good. 2. I received all my boxes in as is condition without any breakage and not a single item was missing 3. received my box in exact 3.5 months as mentioned by UR. 4. They send you weekly updates and keep you on updated on each and every step. Con's 1. They charged me extra 7000Rs for 6 boxes as Port handling and Sensitization fees. i assume this might be some money they might have to pay at port to clear boxes or it my be genuine fees, but UR must tell upfront about this fee also they can include it as part of payment rather than asking for extra in India. Overall very good experience and would recommend.

I shipped total 7 boxes and TV from US to INDIA.The service was pretty good.The rates quoted were competitive. The team is very responsive and provided updates regularly. My packages reached Bangalore from Chennai after Customs clearance, but the Bangalore team was not so responsive in delivering my package. The final delivery was through Fedex (although I had a different issue with them, where they missed one of my box, and finally received after many follow-ups) . Other than that, It took approximately 3 months to receive my package with minor damages to my Kitchenware . Rating 4 stars because of delay and inconvenience caused by Bangalore Staff. Overall I am satisfied and I'd positively recommend Universal Relocations for shipping services from US to India.
