I'm so glad I booked Raj photo/video for my wedding! They captured exactly the type of fun, natural photo and videos I wanted, while also getting the standard shots to show off the outfits, accessories and decor that I wanted to remember. Everything was done on schedule, with no interruption to the ceremonies and fun that were happening, so we were able to fully enjoy the events and still have memories that truly captured rhe emotions of the day. Raj Photo Video did such a wonderful job capturing the moments of mine and my husbands special day. From the moment they arrived they were energetic and fun and ready to go, making all the picture taking easy and enjoyable. I was nervous waiting for my photos because the weather turned out to be extremely windy, which made picture taking outside a task. But once I seen the pictures all I could do was laugh because the way they were taken told the story and showed the raw moments of what we were dealing with. I also have received so many compliments from friends and family about how wonderful our photographer was which made me so happy. I am patiently waiting for the wedding video but know it will be worth the wait because if it’s anything like the photos it will be amazing! We hired Akash for Mehndi and our pre-wedding photo shoot, Wedding Ceremony and Reception and he was beyond fantastic. He took amazing photos, was friendly with family, the staff and the religious officiants. My husband and I had the best experience with Sameer and his entire team. From our engagement photo shoot till we got our wedding day...Sameer was always there for us with any question we had during the wedding. Sameer always took the time and initiative to explain the process which made all our events much smoother. On our wedding day we met Ajay and Nick, who are the cinematographer and they were equally nice and very easy to work with. Last but not the least Raj uncle, the videographer, he was amazing! Make no mistake about it, New York Film Studios provides top notch photography and cinema services. I had the fortune to meet Girish in 2017 when he flew to Alaska to photograph my friend's wedding. I immediately noticed his attention to detail and his desire to produce photos with artistic merit; not just your standard wedding photos. A year later I got married and hiring Girish was easily the best decision I made throughout the whole process. He’s a true professional who actually cares. I ve seen and spoke to many photographers in other weddings and also searching for my own but sameer and ajay were probably the sweetest, patient, caring and the most humble people to work with. Starting with my My engagment shoot, it was about 30 degrees by the water side Sameer was out there without any gloves, hands red and frozen but yet still with a smile on his face, ready to take any suggestions, trying so hard to take perfect pictures . the pictures came out breath taking. Literally everything i asked for. His whole group had nothing but smiles on there faces through both of my events. i cant even think about how many people asked about there services and complimented them. and now for future events i will only go to them. they are worth every penny for sure.

I contacted the company in February 2022 for a wedding in Upstate, NY in September 2022. Akash and I went back and forth to create a customized wedding package with everything I was looking for. He was very transparent with pricing and what was included or wasn't included in the package. The cost for travel from NYC to our venue was also reasonable. The package included professionally edited photos shared via google drive, an online photo gallery, film, and wedding album, and more. I also requested no show on social media and full length film for the wedding ceremony and reception. Akash and the videographer were very easy to work with on the day of the wedding and are very nice people! The pictures came out bautiful and we received all the shots we wanted! I am glad I went with a company who knows how to photograph Indian weddings. We also received an amazing highlight video! We were able to choose a custom album design and decide which photos we wanted to include. The album was delivered in perfect condition and was really great, amazing quality, and more than I would have imagined! I love that it came keepsake box that holds the album and a carrying case. We received a sneak peek of the photos about 2 weeks after the wedding, all photos by 2 months after, videos by 4 months and the album by 6 months. I would highly reccomend this company's services to anyone! Thank you so much for everything!

We had the pleasure of working with Akash for our wedding in October 2024, and we could not recommend him enough! He was the perfect kind of calm energy we needed during an otherwise chaotic wedding morning. Finding a good photographer for a reasonable price is extremely difficult. My fiancé and I thought we had done just that, except 48 hours before our wedding our photographer cancelled. We were left scrambling to find someone on short notice. Luckily we found Rakesh. We didn’t have a lot of time to get to know him but he agreed to shoot our wedding and we hoped for the best. He showed up on time and from our first impression we had struck GOLD. He was extremely courteous and professional right off the bat and got right to work. Without direction he blended into our party and took candid shots of our guests. During the ceremony he was able to capture all the key moments you would expect then gave us a minute before all the glitzy one on one photos you want for the album. He had already scoped out the property for the best spots where the lighting and backdrop was just right and proceeded to position us to get the best results. I mean honestly, he stopped to show us how the pictures were coming out and we were blown away. At this point we started to forget about pictures and just be ourselves and have fun. After the one on one and family shots we were free to get back to our party and guests, but Rakesh continued to take candid shots. By the end of the night most people in our party felt so comfortable with him they thought he was a personal friend of ours that was photographing our wedding as a favor to us. He had amazing energy and read the room like no one I’ve ever seen. Truly a blessing to have him capture your event, but on 48 hrs notice it was literally a miracle. We would recommend him for anyone and 100% plan on using him in the future.
