Kabir did an exceptional jobs as the DJ of our wedding. He is great at what he does -- he made our lives very easy for planning the details of music. His organization, calmness, and passion for what he does showed in how well the music and DJing was done for our wedding. We had a hindu/jewish/american wedding -- Kabir didn't break a sweat putting together music that fit perfectly to our occasions. I highly recommend Kabir and his team!

DJ Kabir did an outstanding job and made sure everything was transitioned well. He made sure to arrive early and work on all the last minute adjustments to work closely with our planner and event staff. He also spent extensive time working with individuals of our party before the ceremony to ensure the mixes were perfect. Would highly recommend for his ability to provide great service. Well that is what happens when Matt is your DJ and the dance party starts in the evening and goes way past midnight because no one wants to miss a beat ?? Thanks Matt for keeping the party rolling and making our special couple celebrating their silver jubilee, dance to your carefully selected peppy numbers. You went above and beyond and turned the DJ service to karaoke without skipping a beat. Trust me you will be getting a lot of calls for your excellent service for quiet a number of milestone celebrations coming up in our group of friends. Kabir was absolutely amazing. From the first song to the last, he kept the energy up and played songs that drew people back to the dance floor. We felt comfortable with Kabir from the first meeting. He spent time with us understanding our agenda and vision and he helped guide us through the process. Weddings are stressful and he removed music, audio, and lighting from our minds. Kabir did all the music for the baraat including bringing two dhol players that were awesome (I highly recommend two). Desi put on an unbelievable show and we highly recommend him for your wedding. No brainer.

We recently hired Desi Beatz services and DJ Kabir was simply awesome! This was for a birthday party and he made is memorable for us. Kabir is easy to work with and helped us with every step resulting in a fantastic high energy party. His equipment is state of the art, the DJ booth setup was really cool, lighting was brilliant and he worked with us for the music and complied a fun bollywood list mixed with english numbers. Oh and he has this cool looking Jeep that he uses for mobile DJ events. We will call him again for sure.

My wife (Caucasian) and I (Indian) had an amazing wedding, with HUGE thanks due to Kabir, taking care of all audio and DJ needs! Kabir was always accessible, helped us with developing music preferences, walked through rehearsals (multiple times), and most importantly, did an AMAZING job with the music. Given that we are at that age where many of our friends are also looking to get married, we’ve been recommending Kabir to all. Kabir is the best DJ in the DMV area! Hiring Kabir and his team for our wedding reception event was the best decision that my wife and I made. Kabir is very friendly, understanding, and easy going. We used Desi Beatzs for a recent event in our backyard celebrating my daughter’s birthday and we couldn’t have been happier. Matt is very professional and thorough. He worked with us right from the planning phase - we had a couple consultations to understand our requirements and he made suggestions accordingly. He worked with our family to learn our diverse taste in music and even customized a playlist especially for us. He even helped us with music mixes for our dance performances. Matt does it all!! On the day of the event, the team from Desi Beatzs covered many aspects of our party including lights, smoke guns, upstage dance floor lighting, outdoor and indoor speakers. DJ Matt personally came out a few days before the party to test out everything. Everyone enjoyed the music and Matt kept the crowd on the dance floor. A few weeks later people are still talking about the fun party, thanks to Desi Beatzs! We would recommend him for any DJ services - large or small.

Kabir and his team were wonderful to work with for my sister’s wedding this summer. Communication was very timely, they were able to set up and figure things out throughout the multiple events we had for the wedding and everyone in our family had so many compliments for them in terms of the music they played and their professionalism in executing the programs successfully. We had also asked last minute for a dhol player and they actually surprised us at the reception with this which everyone was very happy with and loved seeing! I cannot recommend Desi Beatzs enough to my friends and family for wedding events!!

Best DJ ever...I told Kabir that my Indian/Jewish/Peruvian wedding needed to be a banger, and the man really delivered. All night, guests told me it was the best wedding they'd ever been to and the dance floor was never empty. We choose Kabir as the MC and DJ for our wedding in Punta Cana and we couldn't have been happier with our decision. We wanted to ensure we had great parties with good Indian music and lots of dancing! We got that and more! Kabir DJ’ed our sangeet and reception, and he picked music perfectly for both of these events. He did a great job reading the crowd and playing music that catered to everyone's taste. The dance floor was packed the entire night for both events! Kabir also supported the sound setup for our wedding ceremony, which was more than we hired him for. Whatever I say is not enough for how accomadating and proffessional Kabir is. From the first call, he was super friendly, responsive and willing to help make the event the way we want it. I think we had a pretty complex evening with need for live streaming, some pre recorded speeches and need for projector, but he made it seem all natural and simple. He was in touch with me and my brother regarding multitude of itenary changes during the evening and really just went with the flow. As for the music and lights, amazing. High quality speakers, greating lighting, awesome fog machine and great beats thru the whole night, he was also playing all special request songs all evening. I think i know who ill be calling and reffering to for all my DMV DJ needs

We were so lucky to have Kabir DJ at my sister's wedding in the greater Baltimore area. He was professional, timely, and extremely kind. He worked hard to make sure everyone from kids to our older guests had a great time. He accommodated our requests and helped us with all our needs. On the Mehndi, His friend played the Dhol and added that extra punjabi touch. On the Shaadi, he set up a projector screen so we could play a slideshow and give the couple an extra tribute. Don’t hesitate and just book Desi Beatz for your wedding events! My husband and I are so happy that we worked with Kabir on our special day. So communicative, friendly and upfront about what services they provided (and they offer a ton! We went with the DJ & photobooth packages). He was not only just the DJ for our reception, but he was the host, emcee, and coordinator. He truly lent support to every aspect of our day and was the reason it went so smoothly. Our guests loved the photobooth as well and it was great entertainment for our guests. Our event was a traditional Pakistani reception (the groom’s culture) with guests from other different cultures, as my family is Chinese-Vietnamese. Initially, I was worried about hiring a DJ, because some of the ones I've experienced at other friends' Indian weddings were a bit cheesy. However, Kabir DJ'ed at my wedding reception on 6/2/24 and he was great! We had also used his services at my brother's wedding reception in 2022.
