My girls have been in Bhargavi Bharata natyalaya academy for little over a year now. Previously they have been doing their lesson in UK for 2 years. Right from the very first class with Sandhya, I have to say,I was stunned by her professionalism. Kids were introduced to formal dance terminologies and mudhras which I didn’t even realise was missing in their prior classes. Before teaching a simple step or a song, she made sure kids understood the importance of the step and the meaning of the song. Not just her way of teaching- the way she organised our huge annual day and various other performances was simply exceptional. Messages, reminders and encouragement were constantly sent to not only kids but for parents as well. Her attention to detail and support Right from the selection of dance accessories to our successful dance annual day, she gave a lot of thought to even the smallest of the detail. Very Well planned and executed. In my view All her students are blessed to be part of her academy.

Guru Sandhya is really good. I had not danced for about 20 years and was very skeptical about starting classes again in mid 30s. But Sandhya is extremely encouraging and very thoughtful at the same time. Could not have found a better teacher

We invited them to do some performances for our Wedding Cum Shopping Expo event on Nov 17 this year and it was a great experience for all of our shoppers and guests to watch their performances. We would recommend them for all live performances in any parties or events they are awesome and so energetic!! It's a pleasure to watch them perform. I highly recommend this place for a Bollywood dance enthusiast who also want to make friends in a city far from home. The artistic director is one of my favorite humans. She will make you feel at home or rather that is her life goal. All the choreographers give the same positive vibe and are full of creativity and energy! If you are new to the town, you must join this group to witness crazy fun while making new friends.

Every single lesson in her studio is test of the decorum she has taught and continues to teach me: Do I appear confident and strong every time I move my body to the rhythm? How about my hair, my attire? Have I dressed to succeed in class? And lest we forget, how am I reciting poems and compositions? Is my performance acceptable, or exemplary? Most importantly, how do I respond to my critiques? Do I dare to retaliate out of sheer impulse, or accept my mistakes and respect both my progress and my teacher’s wishes and try again? I face the questions every single day when I return, and try to make the right decisions as Tai has taught me. Yes, Tai can be strict. She pays attention to the nitty-gritty details, and strives for intense perfection. She may break down her students to begin, but rebuilds then into future dancers and leaders.
