She completed the PULSE Teacher's Workshop in New York City in the Summer of 2014 having a chance to learn from choreographers and teachers such as Desmond Richardson, Brian Friedman, and Debbie Wilson. In 2014 she performed and choreographed as a member of Rutgers University's Bollywood fusion team, Rutgers University South Asian Performing Artists. After performing with them, Shivani completed a three month long intensive program at Broadway Dance Center learning under choreographers such as Heather Rigg, Debbie Wilson, and Ginger Cox. Shivani is a versatile dancer and enjoys choreographing and dancing to pieces ranging from Kathak fusion, Indian contemporary, Street Stilettos, and of course, Bollywood. She teaches Kathak, Bollywood, Contemporary, and fusion styles. She hopes to move across the barriers of dance to create a unique style combining the traditional aspects of Eastern and Western styles of dance.
