I had a great experience learning dance at I-Radha Dance school. Guru Kiran Chouhan is an accomplished dancer and a disciple of Pundit Birju Maharaj ji (a legendary Kathak dancer). I will certainly recommend I-Radha for those who want to learn dance.

She spends lot of time in explaining steps, doing them with finesse, and appropriate expressions. I feel very fortunate to have found I-RADHA. It is amazing to find a Kathak school outside of India that applies the same rigor and passion in teaching. The school follows a curriculum, with a course book for each year. The classes are interactive and we progress at a good pace. Guru Kiran Chauhan is patient and has a wonderful attitude. I really appreciate the time Guruji spends in making sure that we understand the basics at each level. I look forward to class every week. If one really wants to study Kathak, then I-RADHA is the place.

Learning kathak with I-RADHA these past 2.5 years has been a wonderful experience !! Our guru Kiran Chauhan is a very dedicated and passionate teacher. The way she teaches Gives me a lot of mental satisfaction and a sense of accomplishment !! We follow the famous Lucknow Gharana and our classes focus on mastering theoretical as well as practical techniques of Kathak Dance. We also do special performances on stage. My daughter has been learning Kathak for 6 years and I am proud to see her performance all thanks to the hard work and dedication of her teacher. Guru Kiran Chauhan was very innovative even during the COVID-19 pandemic. She provided the unique opportunity to all students directly interact and listen to her Guru Legendary Pandit Birju Maharajji .I would highly recommend learning kathak from Guru Kiran Chauhan.

I have been learning Kathak from Guru Kiran Chouhan since many years. Guru Kiran Chouhan is a very multi-talented, compassionate artist. She is also one of the kindest teachers and very committed to her students' growth. Her teaching style is very personable and innovative. She has passed on not only the pearls of wisdom given to her by her Gurus to her students, she has also helped grow in our hearts an ardent love for the Indian classical dance form Kathak. I-Radha is one of the best kathak dance schools in Chicago area. It celebrates the rich indian heritage of classical dancing in the most sincere way. It’s really a great opportunity to learn from the senior student of kathak maestro late. Pandit Birju Maharaj. You will experience the most authentic kathak learning which you will not find anywhere else. You and your child will get to make your basics correct like posture, speed, laya, taal etc at your own pace unlike the other dance schools and you will never feel rushed. They have some great programs for theater, hindi classes, art and Bollywood that will be a great way to introduce your child to Indian language and arts. I-Radha is truly a blessing to us.

I have been a kathak student at I-Radha for over 1 year now. Kiran di is a very passionate instructor. She pays attention to details in each student's movements. She teaches the basics and builds on it to ensure students understand the fundamentals of kathak and rhythm. Kiran di herself is a talented dancer who has been trained by the famous Kathak dancer Birju Mahraj. During classes, Kiran di teaches hand movements, facial expressions and body posture along with the footwork of Kathak. I would recommend I-Radha for anyone interested in learning kathak from a very talented and enthusiastic instructor.
