He often receives once-mores from the audience at his Hindi/Urdu shows. Neel has received classical training from none other than Pandit Jasraj and his senior disciple Pandita Trupti Mukherjee. Neel has trained for over five years in keyboard/piano. Neel was crowned Karaoke King in a competition organized by EBC Radio 1170 of New Jersey (8K Radio), when he was only 15. Neel was also one of the finalists in the SaReGaMa competition organized at BMM, Los Angeles (2015).
